Set up Bid Throttling

Prebid can be configured to temporarily pause bid requests to SSPs when they have returned X number of consecutive no bids.

Enable Bid Throttling module

First enable the Bid Throttling module

  • Navigate to Services > Setup Options
  • Click the Prebid checkbox
  • Click the Bid Throttling checkbox

Go to Bid Throttling

Next, go to the Bid Throttling configuration screen

  • Navigate to Header Bidding > Throttling

Configure Bid Throttling

Finally, configure the bid throttling settings that will apply to ALL bidders:

  • Number of consecutive No Bids before bid requests to that SSP will be paused
  • Number of seconds to pause requests to the SSP
